After seeing many reviews and listening to the sample audio and video on the site, i was excited to see the gang live!! But none of this prepared me for the adrenaline filled show!! From the opening riff of night train, to the crazy crown jumping in paradise city, the gang delivered to an amazingly high standard!! An unforgettable night, and im already looking forward to the next time!! Thanks alot guys, and keep giving us the amazing performances!!

I bought these tickets for my wife as she had never seen guns and roses live. I bought the tickets as a bit of a giggle. I really didnt expect you guys to be as good as you were. I took me right back to Wembley stadium all those years ago and I really didnt expcet that. Thank you for scoring me major brownie points for buying a superb christas present for my wife. The point was packed with several hundred expectant punters last night, and right from the opening whistle of Night Train to the frenetic Paradise City ending the boys did not disappoint. As someone who was luck enough to see the real thing on no fewer than 5 occasions I cannot believe just how accurate the boys are - musically brilliant and the crowd loved every second. Highlights for me included mercurial versions of Civil War and Estranged but there honestly was not a weak track. Well done lads, hope to see you back in Cardiff soon.

Fantastic, ace ... what a brilliant night. The atmosphere was great and it was nice to be at a concert where everyone was there for the music and to have a good time. As for "Axl's" voice.... you're better than the original and loved the outfits, particularly the shorts!! I wished you'd have played all night but that's just me being selfish ... I am gonna tell everyone I know just what a brill band you are and how good this concert was. I actually live in Essex so please, please can we have some Essex or London gigs so I can take my mates who live up here. xxxxx

Blood, sweat, hair, leather, chicks, rips, tits and ass, Marshall, gibson, red headed vixen broken bones and broken glass. Izzy and Dizzy got low down n dirty Slash and Duff ooozed toxic sleaze Matt banged louder than a velvet revolver while Axl hit those heavens with ease. You guys truly rocked last night !! I went alone but next time will take a fucking bus load...I saw the guns 3 times back in the day and you sounded better and tighter and ...well..more like the LIVE AT THE RITZ era raw rock n roll abandon!. I met a couple of you after the show ( i was the drunken older balding guy)...had to shake slash's hand as im a fellow guitarist(and guitar builder) and Axel dude...you scared me shitless you were so spot on down to the "Scary stary eyes"...you all live right next door to hell? I saw the real G'n'R live at Milton Keynes Bowl many moons ago and have always been a fan and play the albums regularly. I was very interested to see UK Guns N' Roses and have to say I thought you guys were brilliant on Saturday night, my ears were still ringing on Sunday morning! The Tumbledown Dick is a great place for a gig and you guys rocked the place and you really have cracked the G'n'R sound.

New 6th member on keyboards enabled them to play November Rain, wow, better than the original.... Axl's voice was amazing, how he gets to some of those notes. You get better and better. They annhounced their new name as from next year - like it guys, you will continue to get my support, one of the best tribute bands (for any band) I have every seen.

Wow! What can I say?! I've loved GnR, ever since I first heard their music, and when a few mates decided to go and see UK Guns N' Roses in Leicester, I was straight in there with them. We weren't disappointed. What we got was two hours of fucking awsome music. This was amongst the best gigs I have EVER been too, and I can't wait to see them again. The guys imitate the look and sound of GnR almost to perfection. What were the bad points? Well I could only pick two faults; they didn't play one of my favourite GnR songs My Michelle, and the intro to Knockin' on Heaven's Door was missing "Only Women Bleed," but other than that ... hell, I couldn't tell it apart from the real thing. Anybody who wants to go and see GnR music played live must go and see UK Guns N' Roses!

Well heres a different perspective..I was the guitarist in the support band, Permission To Rock. Just to point out firstly, not all support bands are kids/beginners with no experience. My band members have been around for a lot of years in various other guises so we kinda know what we're doing. This gig however was our first as this line up..and if ever there was a baptism of fire, this was it!! UK Guns N' Roses couldnt have been more helpful..they even let us use their drum kit. Lads it was awesome..we couldnt have wished for a better 1st gig..bit of a fairytale really. im happy to say theyre one of the few bands that has no prima donas, although they have every right to have, real genuine guys..Thanks for the night, thanks for lending the crowd to us, thanks for your support and we really look forward to working with you again...rock n roll dudes!!

last nite was the second time ive seen UK Guns N' Roses at the empire and it was even better than the last. their sound is incredible and a Guns N Roses fan couldnt ask for more, i was standing right at the front leaning on the stage and got to have slash's gibson in my face most of the night, and axl's tight shorts, which wasnt so cool but it wouldnt have been thesame show without them. the crowd went wild for the really big songs, i could feel the floor actually bouncing durin sweet child o mine and paradise city. cant wait till they come as UK Guns N Roses!

Fuckin Mustard!, Started off brilliant with Welcome to The Jungle and just got better obviously the best songs were saved till last, Sweet Child O Mine went down the best I think as that one was the one eveyone was waiting for, Finished off with November Rain which at that point everyone wanted, Then went off stage,although it was obvious they would return I dont think anyone thought the finale would be as good -They played Paradise City and everyone was kicking fuck out of each other on the dancefloor, Absolutley fuckin Brilliant and while all the lads were amazing the geezer who played Axl was the Dogs Bollocks. Would definetley recommend if your a Guns fan or even if your not for that matter because I think you would be after watching this.

Well what can i say? You guys kick arse you certainly now what you're doing you have the mannerisms down perfect. The set was fucking explosive i must say it was unbelievably trippy i completely forgot it was the year 2005 and that i was in a bar in croydon. Like i said you guys have the entire routine down perfect and its fucking brilliant.
The days and nights i spent continually watching the 1992 Tokyo dvds have actually accounted for something as i felt a strange bond of unity as 'Axl' used many intros from the actual dvds - a fine touch for all gnr fanatics like myself.
And all the days and nights i spent learning the fucking songs DEFINATELY paid off and i had the priveledge of air guitaring the heavens door solo right along side 'slash' as well as being his offical lighter. Truely that is what i live for!!
If i can suggest any songs id love to hear they would have to be, Get in the Ring, Don't Damn Me and Garden of Eden
Like i said FUCKING AWESOME SHOW!! Definately coming to see you guys again to air guitar and headbang myself into a state of bliss!! FUCKING AMAZING!! Thanks for a great night!

What else can i possibly say, OH MY GOD!!!! you guys are just amazing, its just unbelievable how good you are, you're are only second to the original (an believe me, you could be overtaking em!) this is my 3rd time seeing you and every show has been brilliant. Tonights show was just fantastic and dizzy being there just topped it all off, way to nail november rain duude! And aswell as all the brilliant songs you performed excellently, i even got to go backstage! When i asked mr boo if i could get a tshirt he said ye sure go backstage...WOOOO, these guys are the friendliest, most talented guys you will ever meet in your life, guaranteed. I'm a huge guns n roses fan and didn't expect too much from a tribute, i thought slash would be a bit reluctant on solos, axl would be close but the high notes wouldn't come, i was just wanting to see how it sounded but my god i swear if you didn't know it was a tribute you'd think it was the real thing in front of you, at the end of the gig I was shaking hands and seriously thinkin that i had just shook hands with the real guns n roses, when slash used my bottle for slide guitar i was bragging about it. These guys are awesome n i swear you'd rather see them than the guns n roses of today, they rock!!!!!!!

In all honesty that was the best gig ive been to all year! The atmosphere was soo intense - it was honestly better than motley crue!! i loved every minute of it!
Flash's solos were perfect! like the real thing - and axl whooa he was the shit!! he fuckin rawwked!!! i was loving it when he shook everyones hand at the frount *"I DONT WANT YOUR HAND I WANT YOUR ****!!"* i did eventually control myself! and enjoyed every bit of the show! i especially loved Rocket Queen, November Rain and Breakdown. Seriously, that concert has made my millennium! the closest thing im ever guna get to seeing guns n roses and im glad i did!! was a great gig - i just cant say that enough!
i will be there for my birthday in september!!

As soon as the count - in for Nightrain began, an intimate energy between the crowd and the band was created. UK Guns N' Roses knew exactly how to perform. They hit every note with ease, they looked the part and knew how to treat and respect their onlookers. Every person in the pub had a huge amount of respect for the guys. Flawless set and thank you guys for a memorable saturday night! Hope to see your names in Leicester again some time soon!

Opened the set with an amazingly sounding nightrain as gud as the real thing! went straight down the front! which lead afew more people down aswl! vocals were astonishingly accurate, solos were blinding and note perfect! drums kickstart my heart, it was good to see a proper band live again! a good nite was had by all. and they blew the roof off! the venue was way to small for them!! thanks guys!

SAD. UNFORTUNATE. AND A REAL SHAME that everyone who saw UK Guns N' Roses on saturday night has to wait until December to see this FANTASTIC band again at Mr.Kyps! They have the looks, the sounds, the charisma and stage craft to totally take you away to that special place where you forget that you are watching a tribute band. The lads played a blistering set starting with 'Night Train' and including all the classics like 'Welcome to the Jungle', 'Knocking on Heaven's Door', 'Live & Let Die' and a soul touching rendition of 'November Rain' with some masterful fingerwork on the keyboard by Stevo.

All songs were note perfect from the 'Slash' solo parts to the driving drumming. All the band played the part perfectly, I just dont know how they kept their cool and played so laid back. The outfits for all the band were first class - Slash with his Jack Daniels tee and cig hanging from his mouth, Duff with black cowboy hat and dark shades and of course Axl with trademark shorts and bandana. Not only that but he also had the time to change into the full range of 'Axl wear' - shorts & leather waistcoat, black net long tee, lumberjack work shirt, red suit jacket for the November Rain spot & of course THE KILT!!!!

A lot of people when they are thinking of going to see a tribute band know that they don't want to destroy the image of the real thing by paying to see a third rate copy of the band they love. They will look at the tribute band's web site which in UK Guns N' Roses's case certainly does not do them full justice. You really have to be there. And they may choose not to go.
HOWEVER, I have noticed that since I saw the gig I have been playing all my Guns n Roses CDs just to remind me of how good UK Guns N' Roses are! A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!

Cheers fella’s, that was a great gig. As a gutirist myself I was very impressed with “slash’s” playing. He stuck faithfully to the albums tracks and pretty much nailed each solo note for note. Very good attention to details regarding the live GNR shows (ala the Hendrix bit before Civil War). Axl sounded great also. Nice to hear all the old Appetite stuff, Brownstone and Rocket Queen did it for me. But no Welcome to the Jungle, perhaps due to the stage invasion at the end?? Sorry about that!. …….But what a gig, F8cking great. See you guys next time!!!

Let me see, how can someone sum up a UK Guns N' Roses gig? f***in awesome! There are no other words to describe it. I would never have believed that any tribute band could sound so spot on. Opening with Night Train was a very impressive start and it only got better. Paradise City had me and a friend head banging like a pair of crazed lunatics that had escaped from the asylum! As I'm writing this I'm listening to the G'n'R Greatest Hits album and it's impossible to compare you guys and find anything you did wrong! I've been listening to Guns since I was in nappies and never before have I been so amazed by anybody imitating the band.
Thank you for a truly fantastic night guys and I can't wait to see you again.

OK, so heres my story....wasn't ever really a rocker although i had an appreciation for it, and recently decided to buy a guitar and teach myself to play it before i die,,,unfortunately i don't think that is going to happen!!!!,,,but at least it gave me a new found respect and admiration for musicians everywhere! A very good(and might i add VERY sexy) friend of mine then invited me to go see UK Guns N' Roses, and i thought what the hell,its an excuse to go out ,could possibly cop a quick feel in the dark, and it might even be fun!,,,,,,,,,what can i say,,other than WOW,,,,AMAZING! Rocked my world! These guys are good,,damn good! Am now listening to Guns n Roses at every available opportunity and force my kids to head bang and play air guitar on the way to school each morning! Had an excellent night, the way 'slash' played that guitar was astounding and the showmanship of the whole band was intoxicating. Go and see them,,you won't regret it! Shall be seeing lots more of them myself in the very near future,,,and just had to let you know 'axl' that those hot pants did things to me i cannot even begin to describe on here,and almost brought me to my sha na na na na knees kneees!!! xx.

I had heard you guys were good from your previous visit to "dicks", but to be honest I was cynical, for starters I remember buying Apetite the day it was released in the UK and has always been my favorite all-time album, and led to me becoming a huge G'nR fan. I didn't beleive that a tribute band could live up to the energy and rawness of G'nR, therefore I went to the gig ready to dismiss you. I therefore hold my hands up and admit I was wrong, very wrong. You convinced me totally, and showed you truly have that same edge and the same talent, absolutely spot on! Everyone near us was getting into the performance and everyone came out feeling f***in fantastic. Any rock n' roll fans should check these guys out, you won't be dissappointed!

It’s said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But Guns ‘n’ Roses tribute band UK Guns N' Roses prove that it’s also the coolest. UK Guns N' Roses, aptly named after a song on the Guns’ first Use Your Illusion album, are unquestionably the hottest, and most accurate Guns ‘n’ Roses tribute band in the UK. And after their trailblazing performance at Bournemouth’s Old Fire Station one murky Saturday night in January, it’s fair to say UK Guns N' Roses are also the baddest. The night burst into life in true, concert-authentic style with the PA announcement: “you wanted the best well they couldn't f***in’ make it – from Hollywood, Guns ‘n’ Roses!” Then, as if taunting the old G ‘n’ R to come out of retirement for a battle of the bands, UK Guns N' Roses ripped into ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. The choice of song was a clear demonstration of the group’s appreciation for the original G ‘n’ R, and their history. It was, after all, the original band’s first track from their debut album, Appetite for Destruction. Note for note, Axl’s counterpart proceeded to shock the audience with his uncannily faithful vocals, and in the words of the song, also managed to bring the crowd to their knees. The anticipating audience were not disappointed by lead-guitarist Flash’s dextrous playing either, he was able to appear as nonchalant and talented as the original with some stunning solos. Likewise, Bid, in the role of bass-player Duff McKagan, was very much the hardened, beer-appreciating rocker. This was anything but Stars in Their Eyes, the Guns’ imitators swigging from beer bottles and smoking cigarettes as they banged out a compendium of the American band’s hits. ‘Mr Brownstone’, ‘Paradise City’, ‘Night Train’ and the uncompromising-on-the-eardrums ‘Live and Let Die’ were all there -- the last on the list proving that although the real Guns may, alas, be dead, these young Guns’ talent for mimicry is very much alive.

I'm no music critic. But this band were f***ing amazing. The music was fantastic the front man gave me goose bumps, (as a hetrosexual male not many men do this for me). He has Axl's mannerisms down to a tea, but has managed to refrain from threatening to beat peoples crap in and jumping to the crowd. They played for the best part of 3 hours playing all the singles and the best of the album tracks. The gig cost quite a bit, but I would gladly pay 3 times as much, (I'm gonna regret saying that). Go see this band.

Oh my goodness! What a show! I was seated in the balcony, so I had a perfect view of the entire show. The band sounded really tight on stage. Slash played note for note the same as the real thing and I was really surprised that Axl performed very closely to the real Axl Rose, even down to all the movements on stage! The set was a nice mix of Appepitite and Illusions and Lies material, it's wonderfully it hear the full 8 minute version of "Move To The City" played live with all those solos and "Knockin' on heavens door" was another favourite from this show. An excellent show and I hope you guys come back here again real soon. The place was completely packed, I've never seen it so busy in there before!

UK Guns N' Roses, you guys rocked! The venue was the most packed I've seen it, and I'm not joking. The band looked and performed just like the real thing and I thought you guys were all wicked. Big respect going out to the lead guitar player, to nail every solo to the 'T' what a hero. I've seen tribute bands before trying to imitate the Daddies (Guns 'n' Roses) but everything about this band captured everything about the Guns, the singer hit every note, the bassist looked and played just like Duff, the rhythm guitarist got Izzy's parts nailed, and the drummer kept an amazing beat. Really honestly, I hope you Guys come back soon, that was the best night I've had in ages! Keep Flying the Flag for real rock 'n' f***in roll!

Well I'd seen the web-site, read the reviews and heard from others who had seen the band before, but nothing could possibly have prepared me for the truly fantastic UK Guns N' Roses experience at jbs. As soon as the guys took the stage I knew this act was special. All of the tunes were performed superbly. My only regret of the night is having a bit too much to drink, which meant that I couldn't remember completely the set-list the morning after!! I've been listening to gnr for about 16 years now and this night brought back some great memories. I've seen the original gnr only once but I've got to say this night was just as enjoyable.

Well what can I say ? Lets start with "oh boys from UK Guns N' Roses we really are not worthy" (OK ass kissin over now)Seriously I went to this gig havin read all the reviews on here but still a bit concerned, were they really as good as everyone has said? Did they really sound/look the part? OH MY GOD YES AND THEN SOME !! With support band "Smashed" (im pretty sure they were called that)Who in there own right were very good UK Guns N' Roses absolutely blew me away. The venue was good (I was very surprised how empty it was though?) almost felt like going out into the street and dragging people in just to educate them with these (in my eyes)gods of rock!And the tunes !! When they broke into Sweet Child o mine I disappeared into a swirling vortex of shinny guitar solos and damn damn skilled playing, it felt like suddenly nothing else in this world mattered (no pun intended any mettalica fans out there!)Im afraid mere words just cannot do this group justice,they absolutely completely and utterly blew me away. Sell a kidney pawn your granny do whatever it takes to see these guys you will Not be disappointed! Thanks UK Guns N' Roses you made my year! expect to see me at a lot more of your gigs!

A cold winters night in Leek but the temperature was suddenly raised when UK Guns N' Roses came on stage. From the first chords of Nightrain to the final notes of the set these guys were at full throttle and balls out. Sound was crisp lights were good and the music was as ever brilliant. Having a low stage gave Axl more room to move and mixed with the strobes gave a good impression of a whirling dervish. The guitar solos were crystal but most of all this was a gig by a band who love their music and the music of G-n-R. To the people of Leek the next tome these guys are on in the area lock up your daughters hide the good whiskey but most of all get off your asses and go and watch them you will not see better. Your lives will be the poorer for not going. Till the next time keep on rocking.

You guys were f***in' amazing. Definitely the best tribute band I've ever seen.
Axl: Quality voice, looks like the actual Mr. Rose, actions down to a tee, even coped with the sound problems!, great stage presence.
Slash: Marshall Stack, Gibson Les Paul (Perfect Combination), note perfect solos, giant bottle of vodka on the job(thanks for the few swigs at the end), fag in mouth, exact same stances as the man himself, Big hat (were did you get it?), a true rock god!!!
Duff: Hat, shades, fag . . . cool as f***. You did the ultimate job, dude . . you actually made bass look cool
Izzy: Laid back, nailed all the riffs, and the odd perfect solo!, finally a rhythm guitarist who knows his place in a band.
Matt: Couldn't really see you at the back coz all the tall bastards were in front of me but what I could here was f***ing perfection. Amazing drummer.

This band are completely amazing!! I was gobsmacked and spent most of the performance with my mouth wide open as I couldn't believe my eyes and ears! At the start I was near the back, but had to push my way to the front because I couldn't contain my excitement! Axl Rose is f***ing spot on. I could not believe my eyes. He moves like him, all his mannerisms are perfect, he dresses like him, has legs like him and sounds identical. Superb! And f***ing gorgeous! Slash was totally amazing - most impressed! Those guitar riffs, that man can certainly play like Slash! All the band were excellent all night long and I was completely blown away! Each and everyone of them took pride in doing it all exactly like the real GNR. I will be going out of my way to see them lots of times in the future. I felt like I'd been to a special, private GNR gig and actually had tears in my eyes, it was so good. These guys are my new favourite band. PS Duff is fit!

Secondly I would like to thank u because if u guys would not of been around I would never have met the girl of my dreams so thank you we've been goin out for 6 months now since the first time we saw u. anyway the way u performed the other night made my hairs stand on end it was just like listening to them on cd u guys were perfect and slashs vertical guitar playing was ace especially. As soon as me and my buddy walked though the doors, we were amazed to find that we were the first customers, and we saw UK Guns N' Roses setting up, then the guy who was axl was like "nice shirt dude" so cool, when the band came on, they where so f***ing cool, they where awesome, no other way of describing it, I would go as far as saying, that the dude who was Axl was better that the REAL AXL. I'll be seeing them again, they where just the f***ing best tribute band ever. These guys are the best. ROCK ON DUDES!! THANKS FOR THE GREAT NIGHT!

Excellent gig to a full house, this is the first time I've seen these guys but it sure as hell wont be the last, they rocked the house Big style, highlight of the night for me was slash and Duff they were the dogs conkers! even tho the lead guitarist gets all the glitter this top gig was a team effort and all were superb, the only criticism I had was on particular songs you couldn't hear the vocals very well over the music, Axl's mic was too low over the heavy riffs, but a minor detail you guys are great and if I was a roses member I would have been proud to have been portrayed by you guys! Rock on ill see you all soon

Well, what can we say....Have seen UK Guns N' Roses once before at Chicago Rock in Maidstone about a year ago..but obviously they only get BETTER!!!! What a gig!!! Live and loud!! They have fantastic stage charisma and are all blinding musicians and of course extremely talented. They had everyone jumping within minutes and they didn't stop jumping till the end...and when they came off stage they weren't afraid to chat to fans and share a drink!! Looking forward to December when they are back again....CHEERS LADS x

I'd hate to be a double talkin` jive mutha fukka, but how else do I start to tell you about these guys?!! well 1st off...i just read that some dick didn`t think highly of the guitar playing!! so , to clarify one thing..i`m a guitarist of 10yrs (so i know a good or bad band when i see one )..been listening to gnr for 17yrs..slash is my idol..but this guy for UK Guns N' Roses totally blew me away..note for note .. this was a truely awesome display of not only guitar work, but musicianship and attention to fine detail that would have the gunners themselves standing to applaud.. not only that but everything from axl`s mighty squeal..mat`s thumping beats..izzy`s perfect rythym and duff`s trance like bass line had me thinking i had jumped in my time machine and gone back to the late 80`s. From all the classic radio hits to the `use your illusion` live set and even the B-sides only real gnr fans know about, this band knows its stuff and delivers it with a swagger and arrogance only the original gnr had at it`s peak..i`ve seen a few tribute gnr bands in my short time ..some were ok , some worse, but these guys are the bong!! like i said, i`m a true old fashioned gnr fan and i look in wary anticipation when i see another tribute gnr band on the scene, but let me tell you right now..YOU MUST SEE THIS BAND.. NOW !! i was right at the front of the stage playing air-guitar to every tune (except some of those pesky solo`s only slash n flash seem to be able to play)and enjoyed every second of every minute, and there were moments when i had to pinch myself from believeing that these guys weren`t the real thing!they were THAT good. Tonight was my first night with UK Guns N' Roses...it wont be my last. thanx guys for an unforgettable night. p.s `lets hope axl doesnt sack everyone and go all techno shit on us !

Truly exceptional. I heard that they were good and "meant to sound like the real thing" but didnt really believe it.. Until I actually heard them play! Wow, Im not old enough to have seen the original guns n roses play live, but I do have the live DVD's, and I can honestly say that If I had closed my eyes I could have been listening to the real Guns n Roses. Being a guitar player myself I was very impressed with Flash, who was much much better than I could have imagined! Overall, an amazing gig and well worth the money... I shall be seeing you again!

OMG. The first time ive seen them for real. As a great GNR fan back in the day i was upset that i never got to see them in their prime, and they cancelled at leeds a few years ago, i thought i was doomed to ever see them. then i heard of this band. UK Guns N' Roses capture the rawness that was gnr. with all the classic tracks like civil war, dust n bones, welcome to the jungle, nighttrain, out to get me and many more This band do an exact replica of the tokyo gigs that can be seen now on DVD. I was absolutely amazed, being a slash wannabe guitarist the slash of this band captured everything...the style the look even his movenment was excellent. Axl was brilliant, doing all the trademark dancing and singing, that guy must have been real tired.

I have just joined a band who cover rock classics, and if ever there is a band that turned me onto playing rock guitar, it was early GNR. Apetite..is one of the very best albums ever made, and to see a band spoil these songs live is a real sacrilege to me... Hence, I wasn't expecting much when I arrived at this gig. However, if I had a Slash-style top hat, I would be eating it right now - what a band! THe whole band were great, but special mention has to go to "Flash" who pulls off Slash's guitar work live better than the great man himself (check out the Live at Tokyo Use Your Illusion videos, if you don't believe me) and "Axl", who had all of the moves and mannerisms and, again, probably improved upon the original if anything. Nice one lads - maybe throw in a few tracks that GNR didn't play so much themselves next time? My Michelle? Think About You? Perfect Crime? Garden of Eden? Apart from that, great stuff, keep on rockin' !

Quite simply- GO AND SEE THIS BAND. It may result in you nursing a hangover, being slightly deaf and losing your voice, but it's worth it. Being a devoted G'n'R fan, I went to the gig in hopeful mood, but thought I'd probably be disappointed. This band, however, exceed all possible expectations. The vocals, drums and guitars were simply exceptional, they also demonstrate an amazing attention to detail that dedicated G'n'R fans will appreciate. Having seen Guns and Roses live, there were moments last night when I could almost believe they were in front of me, at the height of their brilliance. In fact, there were times when these guys seemed technically superior to some of G n'R's live performances which, though awe-inspiring, could be patchy at times, particularly the vocals as its obviously difficult to belt out those tunes for hours on end. This 'Axl' never faltered, and I was amazed to discover that he was suffering with a heavy cold. This band tours extensively and it would be all too easy to simply deliver a well-practised set night after night but they maintain an element of spontaneity which was always one of the most exciting things about seeing G n'R live. You feel that UK Guns N' Roses are great G n'R fans, love what they do and understand what the band, and the music, is really about. The inclusion of several numbers from G n'R Lies was a real treat, particularly as Guns n'Roses didn't play them too often after they achieved global success. The fact is, we will never see G n'R like this again, together, brilliant, in smoke-filled clubs where you're close enough to see every move. UK Guns N' Roses are the closest you'll ever get to G n'R as they're meant to be seen. Were it not for my inability to carry anything heavier than a handbag and a pint of lager, I'd be their roadie! as I'm sure these guys deliver something unique every night. In an increasingly sanitised world where banal over-produced teenage angst dominates the charts, Bad Obssesion offer a tantalising reminder of the passion, the anger, and the sex of rock. Watching these guys, music still means something. It's been a hell of a long time since I've been too exhilirated to sleep after a night out(probably too pissed usually)and I,and I'm sure I'm not alone, can't wait to see them again.

9.42pm, the crowd are restless, groans fill the school hall like venue as yet another warm-up track starts to play. All of a sudden, UK Guns N' Roses appear, one by one axle in his skin-tight lycras and fishnet red top with signature bandana. Slash is last with his trademark cigarette burning. The crowd applauds politely then braces in antcipation. The first notes to nightrain are strummed from slashes guitar and we were blown away. Axle hitting the high notes, the band playing in perfect unison and slashes guitar blasting out solo after solo, I was in paradise city. Classic after classic was played, knocking on heavens door, Mr. Brownstone, sweet child O'mine and rocket queen. They even threw in Jimmi. It was electrifying and awesome. Breathless only begins to describe the feeling of the entire crowd. They finished with paradise city and left the stage to a thunderous ovation from the awe struck crowd. Ow and this was just UK Guns N' Roses 'tribute' to g'n'r, legends in th eir own right!!!

Well what can I say! I went with my moms partner as we both love guns n roses. It was absolutelty FANTASTIC. I could have honestly said I thought Axel Rose was there performing in front of my very eyes. His voice, mannerisms, movement, accent, the works. I will never see another performer who is as close to Axel as that. The band were absolutely superb and I will definitely see them again, as many times as is humanly possible. Thanx a lot guys!!!!

The Tumbledown Dick, Farnborough : 27/03/04 Review by Chris Gough
On entering the venue at the Tumbledown, you could tell it was going to be a great night. The both times Ive seen these guys here its been packed! The opening to the gig start with the chanting ('Guns And Roses')and they took the stage. The guys look better and better every time with the manerisms down to a tea-and the music is loud raw and rockin' just as true rock and roll like GN'R should be! I never got to sea the real gunners so this was great for me. you cant help but admire Daves Axl. the voice is as near as you wanna get to the real thing and Mr Flash really cuts it as Slash-those Licks are spot on Mr Gordon! The whole band opened up with real power followed by a stunning version of 'Out Ta Get Me' and 'Welcome to the Jungle' They are more than just a tribute band bceause they nare growing into their parts on stage 'Becoming' Guns N' Roses. Its a pretty amazing spectacle for ANY GN'R fan. Please do not knock this band before you see 'em. They are one hell of a night out.

When i heard a guns n roses tribute band were playing near by, i was excited but at the same time horrified. How could any band cover any of gnr's classic songs and make them sound anything close to the original line up. How could a 'covers band' put the same energy as the real band in to a gnr set? and how the hell could they find a decent axl rose to front the band????. so i went along expecting to be severly let down, and to have hours of bleating to my mates about how they are a disgrace and shouldnt be labelled a 'gnr tribute'... how wrong i was. ive been fortunate enough to have seen the real gnr twice and to be honest tonight, i couldnt notice a difference with UK Guns N' Roses. let me say, these guys have done their homework. 'axl' has the costume changes, the arrogance, the super jumps, the screams, even the rants. 'slash' is a very good guitarist and plays the songs with a fluidity that would have the real slash coughing on his jack daniels. for all younger gnr fans that will never see the real gnr (well, they wont now, will they?), please go and see UK Guns N' Roses. all the songs were spot on, and its pretty obvious the band love gnr, and love playing live. this all equals a great show. the only slight downside is that we couldnt figure out if he was a 'gilby' or an 'izzy' this is the only critisicm on an excellent night. i cant wait to see them again. Chicago Rock Cafe Watford : 23/03/04 Review by Mark Orminston
My ears are still ringing after last nights gig. Its the first time I've seen you play and I thought it was really really good. Drums were solid - every fill-in delivered on time with good volume. Rythm guitar kept it all together nicely, and sounded perfect with slash's piercing solos which were all well executed. Being a bass player myself I appreciated the sound you were getting - really good on Rocket Queen and Mr. Brownstone. Axl -great vocals, maybe a bit drowned out at times, and good stage performance. Paradise City stood out in particular, it had the best atmostphere, shame we got kicked out by bouncers for moshing too hard (considering the venue) but it was the last song anyway and a perfect finish. I would have liked to have heard more songs, I thought 1 hour an a half was too short. I'd love it if you guys did a bigger gig, maybe in London, and fans from all over England would come - people would pay!Travelling the country and playing guns n' roses is some thing I'd love to do, I am really envious. Hey you never know you might have some competition in future years, if I could just find a Slash and an Axl...
Anyway thanks for a great night, I'd been looking forward to it for ages, and it was definately worth the wait.

"f***ing excellent is what i can say!
Just to clarify, Guns N' Roses are my all-time favorite band. If you dont like GN'R then dont go and see this band, because they are more or less exactly the same. When the band took to the stage in silly wigs, dressed up to the nines, i thought 'Oh Jesus, here we go! thats a fiver wasted, well at least we got to see Neckbrace....' I was expecting a serious tribute band, they looked like a parody (anyone remember French + Saunders' version of 'November Rain?'). Then they started to play and my estimation of them changed instantly and dramatically. A familliar tune made its way to my ears and I, as well as just about everybody on the dancefloor, went wild in rapturous applause. It was like 'Stars in their Eyes', only good and without Matthew Kelly. This was going to be a good night.

After playing a few favorites, including a monster version of 'Welcome to the Jungle', 'Axl' started talking to the crowd. This was where we realised that this was more than just a talented cover band: this was obsession. In a pretty damn good impression of the real Axl's speaking voice, he started quoting-word for word- the spoken introductions for the songs that you hear on the many recordings of the real GN'R's live shows. We were even treated to the extended intro to 'Sweet Child o' Mine', y'know, the one with the bassline from 'Coma'. You dont know it? Thats because you're a fan, and this band (and myself), are obsessed with GN'R!

I must admit, by this time I'd had a few more drinks, and that coupled with the dimly lit club allowed me to actually see GN'R, and GN'R as they are supposed to be- playing in dirty clubs on Sunset Strip as opposed to one original member and a backing band playing in some massive arena. This was even more apparent when they played old dirty bluesy tune 'Move To The City'.
More favorites, rockers and ballads (Sweet Child, anyone?)as well as a few lesser known tracks like Pretty Tied Up and Dust N' Bones, technical difficulties and a change of microphone later, and 'Slash' plays the infamous 'Godfather Theme', (which I am certain to this day would not have been played had i not personally requested it!(; ) and that about wraps it up. Unfortunately we didnt get the endless encores that the real GN'R produce, plus there wasn't even a whiff of the mighty 'Rocket Queen', but we do have to take the rough with the smooth, and as far as 'the smooth' goes, tonights band was top of the class. Absolutely brilliant, i hope they come back very, very soon."

By the time I arrived UK Guns N' Roses had taken the stage, but initially my mind was a mixture of disbelief at the sheer cleanliness and depressing atmosphere of the venue and the number of people rocking to the tunes – when I was a child growing up on the Isle of Wight I couldn’t find anyone to share my GNR passion with, where were they when I needed them? But the past is past and sadly are the real GNR (to me they died when Steve Adler was tossed from the band). I was privileged to see GNR live on several occasions, although by that time only Axl, Slash and Duff had survived, and it is a combination of my original GNR and the later make-shift Axl vehicle that UK Guns N' Roses propel. And it’s a pretty good vehicle at that, I’d say a classic Mustang at the very least (and in my world that’s pretty high praise).

The wigs and outfits looked pretty convincing from the bar and on the TV screens in the venue (certainly more convincing than they do on the website and have possible been improved), even though the guitars weren’t quite right (I’m a muso anorak, so shoot me if you think I’m being picky). But every note, move and passion of the true GNR was emulated on that slow and winding Wednesday night at Chicago Rock. The introspective set was pretty special and Appetite tracks ruled the roost (which was fine by me) and my memories of Axl’s ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ prelude at Wembley Stadium were reawakened, as were the visual prowess of Slash’s vertical guitar playing (the guy must have rubber wrists), but most of all it made me realise what a great band GNR were before they got the grand pianos and pantomime stage extras involved and made me rue not seeing them at the old Marquee on their UK debut in 1987 (I’ve not turned down seeing a new band since).

UK Guns N' Roses will take you back to the good old days, but they also make you realise how relevant the excesses (both musical and social) of GNR are today. They will make you contemplate ‘what ever happened to the rock in rock ‘n’ roll’. By the end of the evening my exit was swift from the venue which doubled as the bar from Star Wars but my memories of UK Guns N' Roses will remain long and begs the questions: ‘How long will it be before The Darkness ask UK Guns N' Roses to support them and when will the real ex-GNR members ask to join?’
